The function of the analog gauge VPR 21/20 is controlled by a vacuum meter (controller) and allows pressure measurement in the range of 105 to 1x10-1. The gauge is standardly calibrated to measure in air. The measurement is based on the principle of accurate evaluation of changes in electrical power required to maintain a constant temperature of the heated fiber of the gauge (Pirani's principle).
This gauge can be controlled by the older vacuum gauge VPR 20 or the new VPR 21 (still under development).
